Carrier Transicold equips Wild Water Group with Vector HE 17 to improve efficiency

Carrier Transicold has equipped Wild Water Group’s trailer fleet with Vector High Efficiency (HE) 17 units to improve performance across its temperature-controlled operations. The company, which provides temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services, reported measurable gains after initially deploying five units to replace legacy Vector 1550 systems.
The Vector HE 17 units deliver improved fuel savings through inverter technology that adjusts compressor speed to match cooling demand. The system also provides a cooling capacity exceeding 16 kW and reduces noise levels by 6 dB(A) compared to previous units.
Following early results, Wild Water Group plans to upgrade its full 24-trailer fleet, each mounted to 13.6-meter (44.6 ft.) Chereau trailers, as part of its broader network modernization. The units also feature E-Drive technology, which eliminates mechanical transmissions and converts engine power into electricity to run the refrigeration system, supporting both on-road and depot operations.
