Blossman Services begins construction on autogas research facility

Dec. 9, 2013

Blossman Services Inc. (BSI) has broken ground on a new autogas research and technology center in Ashevile, NC. The facility, when complete, will conduct testing and development on propane autogas systems and offer vehicle technician training.

BSI is the authorized distributor of Prins autogas technologies in the U.S., housing a large stock of Prins propane conversion systems and a complete parts inventory.  BSI said it will develop alternative fuel systems in Asheville and provide follow up support for conversion centers throughout the United States.

Prins awarded Alliance AutoGas, through BSI, U.S. distribution rights in January 2013.  In addition to its line of Vapor Sequential Injection equipment, PRINS has a complete line of liquid injection systems, direct injection systems and diesel blend technologies.

“The Autogas Research and Technology Center is really another great step forward for Alliance Autogas and Prins,” said Bart van Aerle, CEO of Prins. “It gives the organization the ability to implement new technologies faster, therewith bringing new EPA certified applications to the U.S. market more quickly. We are very pleased with this long term vision and investment of Blossman Services Inc.”

The Autogas Research and Technology Center is expecting to open in the spring of 2014.
