Fleet management system provider Telargo has added a new hours of service (HOS) module, which it said provides real-time driver status management, historical route and event analysis, and a real-time alert function to ensure drivers comply with the regulations.

Bogdan Pavlic, president & CEO of Jersey City, NJ-based Telargo, said this module has been specifically customized to HOS regulationsgoverning motor carriers in the U.S. market and is designed to maximize fleet productivity, reduce operational expenses and enforce compliance.

“It allows fleet operators to have a complete automated picture that assists drivers in the compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, increases fleet efficiency and maximizes productivity,” he said. “This HOS feature is directly in line with our vision of providing drivers and fleet managers with the most comprehensive and robust mobile asset management solution available today.”
