    Xata Corp. has named Bob Maeser chief technology officer (CTO), where he will be responsible for leading the company’s technical operations

    Xata Corp. has named Bob Maeser chief technology officer (CTO), where he will be responsible for leading the company’s technical operations including R&D, quality assurance and IT infrastructure.

    Maeser comes to Xata from American Express, where he was vp of technology infrastructure. He previously worked for Gelco Information Network, Agiliti, Comdisco, Hewlett Packard and NCR in various technical and management roles.

    Xata Corp.’s flagship product, its fee-based subscription service XataNet, helps companies manage fleet operations, enhance driver safety and ensure regulatory compliance, the company said.
