Xtra Lease has introduced a new feature to its trailer tracking service, enabling users to set up customized groups they can assign leased trailers to and monitor based on group activity.
In addition, the company added the ability of users to receive emergency notifications, such as door openings or unplanned trailer movements, generating an email alert any time it occurs during a specified time period. Also, new geo-fencing capabilities help users manage loads within geographical boundaries and export trailer history.
"Our trailer tracking system provides fleets so much greater visibility of their rental and leased trailers," said Bill Franz, CEO and president of XTRA Lease. "And these newest features give lease customers the power to customize trailer tracking at a new level, enabling them to tailor the system in a way to match their business operations and needs."
