FourKites announced the availability of FourKites on the Geotab Marketplace, a scalable source for organizations requiring GPS fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions.
According to the company, Geotab customers can share real-time location information of specific loads with internal and external customers, allowing shipping and receiving locations to plan in advance for arrivals, streamline loading and unloading, reduce wait times, and get the truck back on the road efficiently.
Automatic ETA and delay notifications increase driver safety by reducing the number of phone calls, text, and emails to and from drivers, and allow carriers to eliminate expensive and antiquated EDI transmissions, the company added.
