DAT, Parade integration automates broker-carrier communications
DAT Freight & Analytics and Parade recently announced that Parade’s CoDriver AI phone and email platform is certified to integrate with DAT One. Integrating CoDriver technology with DAT One lets freight brokers automatically respond to and qualify carrier communications 24/7 without risking missed calls, unanswered emails, or workflow disruptions.
CoDriver works within the DAT ecosystem to learn each broker’s carrier preferences, compliance standards, and business rules. It allows brokers to:
- Respond to carrier calls and emails in seconds with personalized communication that maintains their professional voice.
- Automatically qualify and vet carriers using the broker’s established safety criteria and preferences.
- Handle four times more inbound calls or messages while booking twice as many loads per representative.
According to Parade, brokers using CoDriver report a 40% reduction in phone call volumes and a 90% improvement in carrier response times. The system is particularly helpful for handling urgent freight, where response speed directly affects load coverage and margins.
“This certification represents a new level of collaboration between DAT and Parade,” said Kary Jablonski, DAT VP and GM, broker growth and trucker tools. “Automating communication can help brokers cover more loads while maintaining the trust and safety standards that define their business.”
The integration is available now to all DAT One customers through Parade’s platform. Brokers can activate CoDriver’s automated phone and email capabilities within their existing DAT workflow.
Carrier Logistics unveils AI-powered tool to streamline LTL operations
Carrier Logistics recently launched its new AI BOL Extraction module. This tool reduces time-consuming data entry of bills of lading, enabling faster, more accurate shipment creation and measurable cost savings.
The AI BOL Extraction module uses artificial intelligence to extract shipment data from bills of lading and automatically populate CLI’s FACTS freight management system—creating or updating shipments in real time. By automating a traditionally manual process, the tool improves data accuracy, reduces delays, and streamlines key operations.
“This technology directly addresses one of the most persistent challenges in our industry—capturing critical shipment data quickly and accurately,” said Ben Wiesen, president of Carrier Logistics. “With this AI-powered module, we’re delivering a real-world solution that drives measurable value. By extracting data in real time, we help carriers act faster and more confidently. The result is a transformative solution that helps LTL carriers using FACTS turn operational efficiency into a strategic advantage.”
The company said the AI BOL Extraction module brings immediate operational benefits to transportation companies processing bills of lading, including:
- Automated processing: Reduces manual data entry of BOLs, accelerating shipment creation
- Error reduction: Lowers discrepancies and rework through precise AI-driven extraction
- Improved efficiency: Enables earlier optimization and dispatch, allowing more time to execute
- Seamless integration: Directly links extracted data into the FACTS platform in real time

RaceTrac partners with Relay Payments, expanding diesel payment options for fleets and drivers
RaceTrac recently announced that it will begin accepting Relay’s digital payments at all RaceTrac and RaceWay truck-accessible locations. The new payment solution is available at all travel centers and high-flow diesel stores.
“As we gear up to open our 100th high-flow diesel location later this year, we are constantly looking for ways to make the lives of our professional drivers simpler,” said Nick Lafalce, marketing manager of B2B fleet and professional driver for RaceTrac. “Our partnership with Relay gives drivers a convenient, mobile-friendly way to pay.”
Relay’s digital fuel purchasing experience will provide professional truck drivers with additional options to pay at RaceTrac pumps, minimizing wait times and helping them get back out on the road quickly. Through the Relay mobile app, users can access fuel discounts, route planning tools, and real-time pricing information.
“We’re excited to partner with RaceTrac to bring our secure, digital payment experience to RaceTrac's growing list of high-speed diesel locations,” said Ryan Droege, CEO and co-founder of Relay Payments. “This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to modernizing the trucking industry with fast, reliable, and fraud-free payments."
Descartes MacroPoint FraudGuard 2.0 provides next-generation solution for freight fraud defense
Descartes Systems Group recently released Descartes MacroPoint FraudGuard 2.0, its latest advancement in freight fraud technology designed to help shippers, freight brokers, and third-party logistics providers safeguard their business against increasingly sophisticated fraud and cargo theft schemes.
With new capabilities for pre-tender, pre-pickup, and in-transit shipments, companies can maintain a high-performing, compliant carrier network, enhance the reliability of decision-making insights, and better detect and mitigate potential identity fraud or double brokering to avoid insurance, liability, and reputational risks.
“The new FraudGuard release has fundamentally elevated our operational confidence,” said Tore Giannone, director of operations, Circle Logistics. “Its automated alerts and comprehensive insights have not only reduced the manual workload but also enabled us to proactively identify and prevent a range of fraud attempts. By making smarter, earlier decisions at the carrier level, we’ve strengthened network reliability and improved tracking compliance—ultimately safeguarding our customers’ cargo with greater precision.”
Descartes MacroPoint FraudGuard 2.0 expands freight visibility and protection through real-time Descartes MacroPoint visibility data, automated in-transit monitoring, and real-time risk alerting. Companies can evaluate carrier and driver legitimacy without delaying load coverage through search insights from Descartes MacroPoint’s database of freight tracking history. In addition, the solution automatically monitors shipments for risk signals across 16 critical in-transit data alerts to notify users of potential fraud, double brokering, and suspicious activity, which provides greater protection for customers.
“Descartes MacroPoint FraudGuard 2.0 brings next-level freight visibility and control to our customers with new alerts and lookup tools that help companies better protect their shipments, reputation, and bottom line,” said Robert Derin, director of product at Descartes. “By improving compliance through enhanced security measures, the solution helps shippers, brokers, and 3PLs strengthen their service differentiation, dramatically reduce fraud-related losses, and lessen the financial impact of resolving incidents.”
