Queclink launches satellite-enabled tracker to maintain fleet connectivity in remote areas

Queclink Wireless Solutions recently launched its first satellite-enabled vehicle tracker, the GV75MG SAT, designed for use in remote and isolated locations where cellular networks are unreliable. The company, which provides IoT devices and hardware, developed the device to deliver advanced security, driver safety, and fleet management solutions in harsh environments.

The GV75MG SAT supports dual-mode tracking via Cat M1/GSM and NTN-IoT, connects with Bluetooth beacons and sensors, and features IP67 waterproofing and a wide 9–90V voltage range. Motive adds AI lane swerving and smoking detection to improve fleet safety

Motive recently added new AI-powered driver safety capabilities, including lane swerving detection, smoking detection, and forward parking detection, to help prevent collisions. The company, which provides AI dashcam solutions for fleets, designed these models to give real-time visibility into early predictors of high-risk driving and intervene before dangerous behaviors escalate.

“The road-safety crisis has been escalating for years, and it demands new technology that evolves just as quickly,” Hemant Banavar, chief product officer at Motive, said. “We’re rolling out advanced AI models at a rapid pace to help surface early and reliable signs of danger before they become catastrophic. With new capabilities like repeated lane swerving detection, smoking detection, and forward parking detection, behaviors that were previously unnoticed can now be detected in real time so drivers and managers can address risks and prevent collisions.”

Fleetworthy expands Toll Genius with Platform Science integration for smarter fleet toll management

Fleetworthy recently expanded with a new integration with Platform Science, expanding access to its Toll Genius solution for fleets using Bestpass and Platform Science ELDs. The integration overlays toll data with GPS and telematics to provide AI-powered insights that help detect anomalies, reduce violations, and improve toll management accuracy.
