Fuel Transport recently launched Transport Optimization, an $8 million AI program designed to modernize logistics operations across North America.
The third-party logistics company, which provides transportation and logistics services in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, is collaborating with Scale AI, Vooban, CRIM, Geloso Group, and Les Camions Fuel to implement intelligent systems that improve its pricing, quoting, and carrier selection.
The program aims to advance predictive intelligence across Fuel’s operations, enabling faster, smarter, and more consistent decision-making while enhancing operational resilience and responsiveness throughout its network.
Key features of Transport Optimization:
- Dynamic pricing and quote management assistant: Generates competitive, profitable rates using real-time market data.
- Carrier recommendation system: Recommends optimal partners based on compliance, performance, reliability, cost, and customer requirements.
- SOP management system: Centralizes and standardizes processes to enhance traceability, compliance, and operational transparency.
- Employee assistant: Provides a conversational interface that allows team members to query and act on internal systems efficiently.
“At Fuel, we believe true progress happens when intelligent technology works hand in hand with human instinct. We’re proud to collaborate with partners who share this vision and have been instrumental in bringing Transport Optimization to life,” Robert Piccioni, CEO of Fuel Transport, said. “With this initiative, we are not only elevating operational efficiency but also redefining what it means to lead with insight, agility, and responsibility in the logistics sector.”
