Fleetworthy integrates Lytx video snapshots into Safety+ to speed coaching
Key takeaways
- Fleetworthy integrates Lytx video snapshots into Safety+ Map View to support faster safety coaching decisions.
- The update combines driver behavior data with visual evidence like speeding and weather conditions in one workflow.
- Fleets can reduce portal switching by accessing event video and insights directly within the Safety+ platform.
Fleetworthy has launched a new integration with Lytx that embeds time-specific video snapshots directly into Safety+ (formerly Drivewyze Safety+). The company, which provides a fleet readiness technology suite, designed the enhancement to combine visual event evidence with driver behavior data to support faster coaching decisions.
The integration places Lytx video snapshots inside Safety+ Map View along with insights such as speeding and adverse weather driving data. It enables fleet managers to review safety events without switching between portals, helping reduce the need to manually cross-reference systems during coaching workflows.
The update is available upon request to Safety+ subscribers using Lytx cameras at no additional cost. Fleets using Fleetworthy Foundations (formerly Drivewyze Free) can upgrade to Safety+ to access the full coaching workflow.
Key capabilities:
- Lytx video snapshots displayed in Safety+ Map View aligned to safety event timing
- Video snapshot access providing road condition context at the moment of the event
- Faster coaching reviews by eliminating portal switching
- Compatibility with existing Lytx camera deployments on most ELD devices without additional hardware
“Fleet safety depends on having the full picture, and until now, that meant jumping between systems during critical coaching moments,” Martin Murtland, VP of product at Fleetworthy, stated. “By embedding Lytx video snapshots directly inside Safety+, fleets can review events faster, coach with greater confidence, and make better-informed safety decisions. This is part of our broader vision to connect data across the fleet experience and help safety teams make smarter decisions.”
