TeleType has released a new portable GPS system aimed at professional truck drivers that ensures routes will follow roads suitable for truck travel, taking into account bridge heights, clearances and load limits, the company said

TeleType has released a new portable GPS system aimed at professional truck drivers that ensures routes will follow roads suitable for truck travel, taking into account bridge heights, clearances and load limits, the company said.

According to TeleType, the Commercial Truck WorldNav portable GPS system offers 10 levels of hazmat routing, an extensive POI database, flexible routing options, and weigh station and truckstop locations.

The touch-screen GPS is available in two screen sizes, 3.5-in. and 7-in. diagonal.
