RigMaster Power Corp. has announced the expansion of its APU product line with two distinct APU models, the T4 CARB-compliant model and the T2 model for trucks that do not intend to travel to California.
The T4 model has a Tier 4a engine and can be equipped with a DPF for 2007 California compliance. The T2 is a cost-effective alternative, the company said, utilizing a Tier 2 EPA compliant engine.
Both models will be available with either a Perkins or Caterpillar engine. All 2008 models come with a serpentine belt, replacing the generator and compressor belts. This reduces maintenance and improves the serviceability and longevity of the APU, the company said.
