Anti-idle technologies, battery powered heating and air conditioning systems and fuel-operated heaters are just a few of the products in the Navistar Parts lineup that may be eligible for federal, state and local clean diesel grant funding, according to the manufacturer.

"Our International dealers are ready to help customers improve their truck's emissions by capitalizing on available government incentive programs," said Roger Kuchar, business development manager, green diesel technology for Navistar Parts. "Millions of dollars are available and it's a smart way to reduce a vehicle's carbon footprint without breaking the bank."

The government grants are being made available to help offset the costs of retrofitting trucks to reduce harmful emissions. Other products that may qualify are thermal storage systems, diesel oxidation catalyst, diesel particulate filters and closed crankcase ventilation products.
