• Natural gas focus of upcoming workshops

    June 11, 2012

A series of workshops in June and July across New York state will be held to promote and educate potential customers of the benefits of compressed natural gas (CNG). The workshops are free.

The one-day workshops will highlight the options available for using CNG, how to determine if the fuel is right for your fleet, and provide information on implementing and financing a CNG project. The programs are sponsored by the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority.

The first event is June 14 in Buffalo, followed by workshops in Syracuse (June 20), Albany (June 25), Long Island (June 28) and Nyack (July 12). Click here for a sample agenda.

All of the workshops include a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and a catered lunch. The workshops run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by an “open discussion” on natural gas.
