Fuel system treatment product released

Nov. 7, 2012

Royal Purple has released a new fuel system treatment product that is said to clean injectors, restore fuel economy and reduce engine buildup and tailpipe emissions.

Max-Clean’s proprietary technology targets both the intake system and combustion chamber and is effective on the entire spectrum of engines on the road, whether they are new or old, gasoline or diesel, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged, the company said.

According to Royal Purple, product testing showed a 3.2% fuel economy improvement, 2.6% horsepower gain, 12% reduction in hydrocarbons, 13% reduction in NOx and an 18% reduction in CO emissions. Testing also showed improved idle with less hesitation and stalling, the prevention of spark plug fouling and a less deposit-related engine knocking and pinging.
