Bergey’s Truck Centers acquires Lesher Mack/Hino/Leasing

Dec. 15, 2023
Bergey's Truck Centers expands across Pennsylvania by acquiring Lesher Mack/Hino/Leasing.

Bergey's Truck Centers recently acquired the assets of Lesher Mack/Hino/Leasing. This acquisition includes three locations in Camp Hill, Lebanon, and Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Bergey's will offer Mack and Hino commercial truck sales as existing OEM areas of responsibility allow, along with parts sales, commercial truck service, and commercial truck leasing and rental.

"This acquisition is a great opportunity for Bergey's to bridge a gap in our existing Mack and Hino footprint in Central PA," said Mark Bergey, Bergey's CEO. "We look forward to building on Lesher's long history of success by learning from each other and leveraging our combined resources, including our industry expertise, to offer more commercial solutions to our customers."

These new locations add 18 service bays to Bergey's commercial service department. The added lease portfolio will bring Bergey's Leasing fleet to more than 1,300 assets. Additionally, this acquisition increases Bergey's commercial truck footprint to include 26 locations: 17 truck centers, eight truck parts locations, and a parts warehouse. Bergey's Truck Centers offers Mack, Volvo, Hino, Isuzu, and Autocar commercial trucks as well as Wabash and Strick trailers. Bergey's also operates six commercial tire centers and ten automotive dealership locations, extending their commercial offerings to include automotive and light-duty pick-up trucks and vans.

"We are very excited about this acquisition and the opportunities it brings to our customers," said Jim Gavaghan, Bergey's Truck Centers president. "Expanding our footprint allows us to better serve customers of both organizations. I look forward to building relationships with our new team members and customers, showing them what it means to be 'Driven to Serve.'"
