ATDynamics Inc., a supplier of trailer rear-drag aerodynamics technology, and Werner Enterprises, recently displayed a Werner tractor-trailer equipped with ATDynamics' TrailerTail aero device on Maryland Circle outside the U.S. Capitol.

The manufacturer said the event gave the public, legislators, local media and others the opportunity to learn first-hand how aerodynamic “tail” technology can save the trucking industry $20 billion in fuel costs over the next decade.

Werner Enterprises recently retrofitted 130 trailers with TrailerTails, noted ATDynamics founder & CEO Andrew Smith.
