To help illustrate the many benefits of its ecoLast spin-on heavy-duty oil filters, Wix Filters has unveiled a special website dedicated to the product.

The site, ecoLast.com, includes all the benefits of the filter and includes an application look-up, a fleet savings calculator, and technology information. The filter doubles oil life and saves up to $200 per vehicle annually, Wix said.

“Our new ecoLast line of heavy-duty oil filters performs so well that it requires fleet managers to change the way they view their maintenance schedule,” said Mike Harvey, brand manager for Wix Filters. “We created ecoLast.com to give fleet managers a place to learn more about the technology and to see how much money they can save by changing their fleet to ecoLast oil filters.”

The ecoLast filter captures dirt and soot while using media to sequester the acids in the oil, Wix said. The filter, available for the Cummins ISX, Cummins M11, Mack MP8, Detroit DD60 and Caterpillar C13 and C15 engines, works with both conventional and synthetic lubes, and biodiesel, LPG, gasoline and diesel fuels.
