Mack Trucks will sponsor a driving skills safety challenge during the World of Concrete show, Jan. 22-24, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The competition is open to any valid CDL holder at least 18 years old who has registered for the show and completes an application form.

The company will join with Allison Transmission to sponsor a reception at the event registration tent for all daily contestants between 3 and 5 pm.

The event will feature both individual and team competitions operating a Mack Granite model mixer through a simulated job site, completing a pre-operation safety check, navigating the skills course, and securing the truck.
An awards ceremony will be held on January 24 at 4:30 in the event registration tent. For both the individual competition and each operator on the top two-person teams, the first place finisher will receive a $500 gift certificate, GPS navigation display and a Citizen watch, with second place finishers receiving a $300 certificate those ending in third place a $100 certificate. All participants will receive a Mack hat and an Allison Transmission Cutter & Buck money clip.
