Peterson Manufacturing has added new 4-in round lamps to its premium Piranha LED lineup of truck lights. The new 4 in. round models are listed as the 817-3/818-3 series.
Due to technological advances, Peterson noted, the process of integrating AMP-compatible connectors is now fully automated, saving time and cost in the production process. The company added that the new lights come with a 5-yr. warranty.
Each model contains seven diodes with an operating range of 9-16 volts with skirted weld joints for added moisture protection. The 817-3 grommet-mount model uses 426-18 rubber grommets. The 818-3 is a flange-mount model. Both meet FMVSS 108 requirements.
