    New heavy-duty battery tester deluxe kits, specifically designed to perform battery and electrical system tests in heavy-duty applications with multiple battery packs, are now available from OTC, a business unit of SPX.

    OTC offers the new Sabre Heavy-Duty deluxe kit in two versions: the model 3167-HD and Model 3168-HD, which includes an infrared wireless printer. Each kit has a 24-volt, heavy-duty tester; 15-foot test lead; instruction manual and plastic carrying case.

    New diagnostic software has also been introduced. The new software is for Genisys Scan Tool users who service Class 4 –8 trucks. The new release covers HD J1587, J1708 and J1939 standards as well as CAN, engine and transmission/ABS diagnostics. Ask for upgrade kit #3421-79. The software upgrade also comes with the new Genisys Heavy-Duty Master Kit #3653HD.
