Kenworth Truck Co. is offering an aftermarket crew cab conversion option for its T170, T270 and T370 medium-duty models. The conversion is ideal for fuel oil, fire and rescue, towing and recovery, leasing and rental market, and utility vehicles, the OEM said.

According to Kenworth, the 157-in. crew cab features a one-piece fiberglass roof with a 4-in. raised rear section, providing up to 61 in. of interior height. The remaining structure, composed of aluminum, provides an additional 52 in. of length and 84 in. of width at the rear.

Installed in partnership with Bentz Transport Products, the crew cab conversion also features Kenworth DayLite door assemblies and door panels, Granite Gray vinyl interior trim, Kenworth interior upper B-pillar and exterior grab handles and DuPont Imron Elite single stage paint, the company said. Options include an extended horizontal exhaust pipe, separate heater or heater/air conditioner, exterior access steps, carpet and custom trim packages and DuPont Imron Elite base/clear paint.
