Mobile Awareness has released its latest line of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) for commercial trucks, utility vehicles and trailers, the MA-TPMS series.

The new systems automatically and continuously monitor tire inflation and temperature status, alerting the driver to abnormal conditions via an audible warning and LCD display indicator.

Rugged, miniature valve-stem sensor transmitters are externally mounted, eliminating the need to remove and remount tires during sensor installation. According Mobile Awareness, the design also makes it possible to refill tires directly through the built-in valve stem, without removing the device.

Battery life is estimated at seven to ten years.
