Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS), a division of Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, has announced it will increase prices in the United States up to 5% for tread rubber products at its Bridgestone Bandag LLC franchised dealers. The new pricing went into effect May 5. There is no increase for tread rubber products in Canada, the company added.

“Unprecedented energy prices continue to impact our costs, particularly for raw materials and transportation,” said Saul Solomon, president of BBTS. “We'll continue to focus on enhancing our operational efficiencies and increase productivity so that we may only pass on increased costs as absolutely necessary.”
