Kickoff event to launch Driver Xperience Board

March 19, 2013

LOUISVILLE, KY. A special event to launch a new “listening panel” made up of truck drivers will kick off this week at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The Driver Xperience Board, created by XRS Corp., will hold a special event on Thursday, March 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The purpose of the board is to give drivers the ability to offer feedback on in-cab technology and how it impacts their life on the road, XRS said.

XRS plans to leverage feedback from the board to develop and implement driver-focused features for its XRS mobile fleet optimization platform, which is now available for sale.

“We believe in listening to the driver, the person with hands on the wheel and a real knowledge about how things work on the road,” said Ryan Barnett, director of market development for XRS. “Our goal has always been to develop products that make life easier and better for the driver, and we are excited to get valuable input from our Driver Xperience Board members who are willing to share their honest opinions.”

To help kick off the XRS Driver Xperience Board, there will be a driver-only event at Churchill Downs. The inaugural meeting will include dinner and door prizes, and XRS will provide transportation.

Drivers interested in attending can sign up at http://xrs.tv/driverboard anytime before March 21.
