Mack Trucks donated a new Granite axle forward truck model to a recent live auction conducted by the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF).  Proceeds from the live auction fund EREF’s research and education initiatives to help achieve sustainable waste management practices.  This is the 18th year Mack has donated to the auction event.

“We’re proud to again donate a Mack model to the EREF auction in support of their excellent work for the refuse and recycling industry,” said Curtis Dorwart, Mack refuse product marketing manager.  “This is an opportunity for us to help further work that yields real benefits to those within the waste management business and the communities they serve.”

The donated Granite model is equipped with a Galbreath hoist and Pioneer tarping system for roll-off containers.  It is powered by a Mack MP7-405M engine mated to a 6-speed Allison 4500 RDS transmission.
