    Ron Elliott, marketing and communications manager for Marangoni Tread North America, announced that its dealer Tire Tech moved to a new 42,000-sq.ft. facility located at 2400 Ensley 5 Points W Ave. Birmingham, AL.

    Steven Bailey, president of Tire Tech, said, “Our continued growth in the market presented us with the opportunity to purchase a larger facility to better serve our customers with all of our services under one roof which include:

    • Marangoni Ringtread (the splice-less retread) and Unitread precure treads

    • New commercial and industrial tires

    • Fleet services

    • Full service mechanical shop

    • Paint and body shop

    • Towing and recovery services

    • Trailer shop

    • Easy access from Interstate 59

    The new facility not only satisfies our current growth needs, it also provides us with additional acreage to expand well into the future.”   

    Tire Tech Inc. is a dealer for Wilson County Tire & Retreading, a Marangoni independent retreader located in Lebanon, TN.

    While touring the new facility, Rick Majewksi /V.P. of Wilson County Tire & Retreading observed new and existing customers eager to learn about all of the services as well as retreading using the Ringtread (The Splice-less retread) system technology that included, fleet owners, fleet maintenance managers, owner operators and commercial truck dealers.

    A wide variety of Ringtread cap and casing samples stand ready for customers to touch and feel the quality of a double contoured splice-less retread. Among the samples are the Smartway verified RDA-E (drive tread), RTA-E (trailer tread) and the RDAone (super single drive tread).
