Touring Goodyear's San Angelo Proving Grounds Part 2
A bevy of tests are conducted at Goodyear's San Angelo Proving Grounds (SAPG). Passenger and truck tires alike get subjected to on- and off-road tests, fuel economy measurement, deep mud, gravel roads, plus wet and dry traction tests. Goodyear showed off several of its testing procedures to journalists as part of a special "Tire Technology Day" event.
