The 2025 FleetOwner 500: Private list ranks the most prominent private carriers in the U.S. by total registered power units. Released in April, the FO500 saw many ranking shifts after a busy 2024 of private carrier and company acquisitions, mergers, consolidations, and expansions.
In addition to ranking the largest private fleet operations overall, FleetOwner categorizes these companies by equipment, cargo types, and industry segments. This media gallery focuses on concrete fleets.

New to this top 10 are Vulcan Materials and Summit Materials at No. 3 and 4, respectively. SRM Concrete and Cemex US maintained their positions as No. 1 and 2, respectively, compared to last year. The rest of the list shifted downward to make room for the new entries. The top 10 features one name change since last year: The Holcim Group has rebranded as Amrize in the U.S.
