Altec models’ exhaust may overheat outrigger pad

Altec Industries is recalling certain 2021-2025 AA Series, 2024-2025 AM Series, and 2025 AN Series aerial devices. The outrigger pad holder may have been installed too close to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust may overheat the outrigger pad, increasing the risk of a fire.

This recall potentially affects 268 vehicles. Altec will instruct owners to inspect the outrigger pad holder placement. A kit to relocate the outrigger pad holder or exhaust outlet will be provided as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3252.

Altec A Class models’ platform retaining plate bolts may be improperly tightened

Altec Industries is recalling certain 2024-2025 A Class vehicles. The platform retaining plate bolts might not have been properly tightened during assembly. Loose bolts may allow the retaining plate to detach, becoming a road hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, the platform may detach from the boom tip, increasing the risk of injury or death to platform occupants.

This recall potentially affects 77 vehicles. Altec will instruct owners to inspect and tighten the retaining bolts. Altec will provide replacements for any missing hardware. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3253.

Toyota Tacoma models’ driveshaft may deform and break

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2025 Tacoma and Tacoma Hybrid vehicles. The front driveshaft constant-velocity (CV) joint may deform and break. A broken driveshaft can impair steering. Vehicles with full-time 4WD may experience a vehicle rollaway while parked without the parking brake applied. Both scenarios increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 5,960 vehicles. Dealers will inspect and replace both front driveshaft assemblies as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 16. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB11 and 25TA11.
