Hexagon Purus Tern models’ digital display may show incorrect data

Hexagon Purus Systems is recalling certain 2025-2026 Tern RC8 vehicles. A software error may occur between the digital display cluster and the pressure sensors, causing the system to show the incorrect air brake pressure and falsely indicate a brake system failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems." A display that does not show accurate information may fail to alert the driver to an actual brake issue, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 17 vehicles. Hexagon Purus will update the software. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 31. Owners may contact Hexagon Purus customer service at 949-359-8168.

Ram ProMaster models’ rear bench may be missing seat legs

Braun Corporation is recalling certain 2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The rear bench may have only two of four seat legs installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems." An incomplete seat may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing risk of injury during a crash.

This recall potentially affects 14 vehicles. Dealers will install two additional seat legs. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 800-488-0359.

Ram 2500 models can exceed the speed rating of the tires

Chrysler is recalling certain 2023-2026 Ram 2500 pickup trucks. A software error in the powertrain control module may improperly allow the vehicle speed to exceed the tire speed rating, which can result in a loss of vehicle control. Loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 12,736 vehicles. Dealers will update the powertrain control module software. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 4. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 43D.

Shyft Group Utilimaster Velocity models’ incorrect cargo carrying capacity on label

Shyft Group is recalling certain 2025 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The incorrect vehicle load value may be listed on the vehicle cargo carrying capacity label. Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 101 vehicles. Utilimaster will provide new labels. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-04.
