Smith Electric Vehicles recently showed off its all-electric Newton Class 4-7 truck at a special event at the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill to help support passage of S. 1285, the Hybrid and Electric Trucks and Infrastructure Act, sponsored by Sens. Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Herb Kohl (D-WI).
