terion fleetview3 trailer management system adds trailer dashboard
    Nov. 10, 2004

Terion recently released the latest addition to its FleetView 3 trailer management system, dubbed the Trailer Dashboard. The Trailer Dashboard consists of a set of reports designed to provide key operational metrics.

“Similar to the dashboard in an automobile, the Trailer Dashboard provides operational metrics at a glance in a convenient format,” stated Terion.

The Trailer Dashboard provides information such as a dormancy recap report, which ranks trailers based on how long they have been sitting idle at a location. It could also create a trailer pool status summary, which compares a desired trailer pool size with the actual number of trailers at that location.

FleetView 3 is a trailer fleet management system designed to help transportation companies more efficiently manage trailer fleets via high-bandwidth wireless path with messaging and sensor capabilities.
