Emerick M. Woods has been named CEO of Aligo, Inc., a developer of GPS-based time, job, dispatch and location tracking applications for field service operations. Most recently, Woods served as president and CEO of Vicinity Corp., a provider of location-based services with annual sales revenues of nearly $25 million.
KonaWare and IntelliMark will join forces to integrate handheld computers with RFID readers for supply chain applications. KonaWare's Mobile T&L Suite will provide the management applications for the handheld device, and IntelliMark will bring RFID expertise to the project, according to the two new partners.
As part of a reorganization that will give it five strategic business units, AirIQ named Kenneth Wiesner COO. Wiesner had been president and CEO of Aircept, which was acquired by AirIQ last year. The new business units will focus on commercial fleets, consumer services, vehicle finance, indirect distribution and the marine industry.
