McCorkle named ATA chairman

Oklahoma trucking executive David G. McCorkle has been named chairman of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), the lobbying group announced this week at its management conference and exhibition in Nashville. McCorkle, chairman of McCorkle Truck Line Inc., has worked with ATA and ATA Federation activities and with the Oklahoma Trucking Assn. He most recently chaired ATA’s hours-of-service policy subcommittee.
