National Private Truck Council (NPTC) announced it has expanded Rick Schweitzer's role in government affairs activities.

Schweitzer will work to develop and pursue NPTC's policies on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues and will be the lobbying group's main presence on Capitol Hill and at the Dept. of Transportation.

He will also be available to NPTC members for consultation on commercial, tax and regulatory issues affecting private truck fleet operations and freight transportation in general.
