• AGC readies exposition

    The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) will hold its Annual Convention and Expo in Palm Springs, CA from March 19 to 22.

    The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) will hold its Annual Convention and Expo in Palm Springs, CA from March 19 to 22.

    The event will feature an address by General Richard Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, an economic forum, a forecast on the construction industry by AGC chief economist Ken Simonson, and an address on the aftermath and lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina by Colonel Duane Gapinski, District Commander, Rock Island, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

    Also included will be hundreds of sessions that will address building information modeling, work zone safety, soft tissue injury protection, environmental stewardship, and the announcement of the nation’s construction and safety awards programs.
