The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has elected Mark R. Pflederer to the newly created position of vp- Commercial Vehicle Business

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has elected Mark R. Pflederer to the newly created position of vp- Commercial Vehicle Business. He will be responsible for overseeing the development of standards, educational programs and forums for the heavy-duty industry.

Pflederer has held the position of section member for the Central Illinois Section and for the Eastern California Section with SAE. As Chief Technology Officer at Caterpillar he has administrative responsibility for the company’s research and development.
