    Boynton Beach, FL-based puraDYN Filter Technologies said that sales of its oil filtration and bypass system for trucks were up in 2001, though it still lost money for the year.

    The company said net sales for 2001 totaled $1.47 million, compared with $1.17 million the prior year. However, the company posted a net loss of $4.56 million last year, compared with a net loss of $7.09 million in 2000.

    President & COO Kevin G. Kroger said results for 2001 were affected by delays in puraDYN's product launch and a declining U.S. economy.
