• Pilot buys truckstops from rival chain

    National truckstop chain Pilot Travel Centers said it plans to purchase 60 retail travel centers in 15 states from Williams TravelCenters. The purchase will include fuel inventory, merchandise and supplies at those locations. Knoxville, TN-based Pilot said the truckstops are primarily in the Midwest, Southeast and Southwest regions.
