Minneapolis-based Transport Corp. of America Inc. (TCA) said today that its 3Q revenues were less than they were a year before, though it reported a higher net income.

"Our efforts to drive productivity and network balance have begun to translate into improved financial performance," said president & CEO Michael Paxton.

TCA reported 3Q revenues of $64.1 million, compared with $69 million in the same period last year.

The company's 3Q net income before cumulative effect of a change in accounting principle was $1 million compared with last year's 3Q net income of $0.3 million.
