Two South American subsidiaries of Miami-based transportation and logistics firm Ryder System have received the 2003 Merit Certificate from General Motors Argentina (GMA) for logistics and customer service excellence.
The Merit Certificate is awarded annually by GMA to recognize vendors that have provided innovative solutions, outstanding service levels and competitive pricing. Ryder Argentina and Ryder Brazil both won for logistics and transportation services that include milk runs, cross-docking and international linehauls.
“This award not only confirms our service levels, but also encourages us to continue raising the bar, strengthening our commitment to our customers,” said Antonio Wrobleski Filho, managing director for Ryder Brazil.
