Kenworth sees new Cat offerings

Kenworth Truck Co. has announced it is now offering Caterpillar C15 600 hp and 625 hp engines on the Kenworth T800 high hood model

Kenworth Truck Co. has announced it is now offering Caterpillar C15 600 hp and 625 hp engines on the Kenworth T800 high hood model.

Caterpillar’s C15 600 hp engine provides 1,850 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,200 rpm and the C15 625 hp engine provides 2,050 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,200 rpm. The Kenworth T800 high hood model with the C15 600 hp or 625 hp engine requires a manual transmission and Kenworth’s 1,430 sq.-in. radiator.
