    Noble Logistic Services (NLS), the logistics subsidiary of Detroit-based Noble International, has appointed Robert Hemmerlein as its COO. Hemmerlein will be responsible for directing NLS's day- to-day operations. Prior to joining NLS, Hemmerlein was vp-business development with M. S. Logistics, a division of M. S. Carriers, a Memphis-based truckload company that is now owned by Phoenix-based Swift

    Noble Logistic Services (NLS), the logistics subsidiary of Detroit-based Noble International, has appointed Robert Hemmerlein as its COO. Hemmerlein will be responsible for directing NLS's day- to-day operations.

    Prior to joining NLS, Hemmerlein was vp-business development with M. S. Logistics, a division of M. S. Carriers, a Memphis-based truckload company that is now owned by Phoenix-based Swift Transportation. Hemmerlein has over 25 years of logistics and transportation experience gained with several organizations, including Federal Express Logistic Services and Ryder Systems.

    NLS provides regional same-day delivery services to a variety of industries, including auto parts, pharmaceutical and reprographics. It operates in 17 states and services customers with approximately 2,000 drivers.
