The Food Marketing Institute and the International Foodservice Distribution Assn. will hold its annual Productivity Convention & Expo October 23-25 in Orlando, FL.

The food distribution and transportation-oriented event will feature:

  • Over 200 companies exhibiting the latest equipment, systems and services;
  • Nearly 40 educational workshops covering pivotal food distribution and operations concerns such as disaster recovery, energy costs, wireless communications, labor challenges, radio frequency identification, emerging technologies and warehouse safety;
  • Tours of state-of-the-art distribution facilities operated by Publix Super Markets and Sysco Food Services, Inc. (on Oct. 24).

    The event will immediately follow the 19th Annual Truck Driving Championship, featuring over 100 competing truck drivers, which will be held Oct. 21-23.
