The Chelsea Auxiliary Power Group of Dana's Drivetrain Service Div. has released a new power take-off (PTO) for use with Allison Series 1000, 2000, and 2400 automatic transmissions.

The 250 Series PTO features a compact design with a low-profile housing that fits easily into small spaces to simplify and ease installation, says Chelsea.

The new PTO is available as a 12- or 24-volt electric-over-hydraulic shift unit.

The Dometic Corp.'s Cab Comfort Div. and the RigMaster Power Div. of International Power Systems are jointly developing a truck-mounted generator set that will come complete with an air conditioner, heater, and 110v power.

PSO International is gearing up to offer a new system for recycling used crankcase oil right at the service center where the oil is changed. The company says truckers will be able to get a "10-minute oil change" using recycled treated oil.
