Douglas Stotlar, formerly president & CEO of Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL Con-Way Transportation Services, has taken over the reins of Con-Way’s parent company, $3.7 billion Palo Alto, CA-based CNF, as its new president & CEO.
Stotlar, 44, will now directly oversee both Con-Way and Menlo Worldwide, CNF’s logistics and supply chain services subsidiary. John Williford, most recently president & CEO of Menlo Worldwide, has become an advisor to the company.
Before becoming Con-Way’s president & CEO in 2004, Stotlar served as executive VP & COO of Con-Way and president of its Con-Way Now time-definite freight services division. He first joined Con-Way in 1985 as a freight supervisor for Con-Way Central Express.
