The Cinnaminson terminal is one of 29 terminals Estes acquired from former transportation provider Yellow.
“Terminal capacity is crucial in easing congestion and unlocking efficiency, reliability, and value for our customers,” said Al Bucher, corporate VP of operations for Estes. “We’re working hard to get each terminal back online and are excited to offer our New Jersey and Philadelphia-area customers an enhanced experience.”
In total, Estes plans to open 20 terminals in 2024, adding an additional 985 doors to Estes’ network. The acquisition also added more than 130 tractors and 6,000 trailers to Estes' fleet, along with thousands of other equipment like load bars, airbags, and freight tables.
“This is an unprecedented year of growth and acquisition for Estes, and I applaud our team for their speed and agility in getting terminals like Cinnaminson up and running as soon as possible,” said Billy Hupp, corporate EVP. “It exemplifies the grit, resiliency, and can-do spirit of each and every one of our employees and how we work together to provide exceptional service to our customers.”
