Pro-Vision acquires Convoy Technologies to expand fleet video safety solutions

Pro-Vision recently acquired Convoy Technologies, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based provider of video technology for commercial fleets, to expand its fleet safety and video solutions. Convoy Technologies adds commercial vehicle relationships, industry partnerships, and a presence in Southern Ontario, Canada, strengthening Pro-Vision’s North American footprint.

UFOFleet acquires FleetMaster to expand fleet management software capabilities

UFOFleet recently acquired FleetMaster from Cox Automotive to expand its fleet, mobility, and contract management platform into new markets and customer segments.

Torc Robotics partners with Mila to advance AI for autonomous trucking

Torc Robotics recently partnered with Mila, Quebec's artificial intellignce (AI) institute, becoming the first autonomous trucking company to join the institute and expanding its access to AI research talent and resources. The collaboration is intended to advance Torc’s work in physical AI and autonomous trucking through research in areas such as generative world models, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent behavior modeling.

“Torc is focused on building safe, scalable autonomous trucks, and advancing the next generation of physical AI is central to that mission,” said Felix Heide, head of AI at Torc. “As a long-time Mila collaborator, I can definitively say that partnering enables deeper collaboration at the intersection of research and real-world deployment, collaboration that supports continued progress toward commercializing autonomous trucking at scale.”

The partnership builds on Torc’s existing presence in Montreal and its affiliation with Mila since 2020. Torc will establish dedicated research space within Mila’s ecosystem to collaborate with faculty and researchers. Read more…
