Paul Barkworth has been named chief financial officer of Merchants Leasing, a national fleet leasing and management company based in Hooksett, NH.
Barkworth was most recently CFO of Cetacean Networks, Inc. and Rivulet Communications, both venture funded start-up companies. He has previously served on the board of Baptist Insurance Co.
"I am excited by this opportunity to work with this innovative and successful company, particularly at a time when well managed businesses like Merchants have the unique opportunity to prosper in a difficult economy," Barkworth, a native of London, said.
He is an Institute of Chartered Accountants fellow and has held management positions with Coopers & Lybrand, Grant Thornton and with affiliates of BDO International.
